I haven’t posted on here in such a long time, so I thought I’d write a much requested review on my recently purchased Zebra Sarasa Clip pens.
I’ve actually wanted these pens for a while after seeing them all over the studygram community. I did contemplate for a long time about whether or not to buy them after hearing a lot of mixed reviews, but I went ahead with it and thought I’d give them a go!
I bought these pens on Amazon, and when they arrived I felt a bit disappointed. I think that’s because I’m so used to buying colours in such big quantities, ten just isn’t enough! However, despite only having ten colours, I had to try them out ASAP.
I decided to do the obvious before using these pens, swatch each one! I’m not gonna lie, I’m not really a gel pen sort of person, however, these immediately blew me away. Each colour writes so smoothly, and the ink flow is so consistent compared to every other gel pen I’ve tried to use.
There’s not one colour that is scratchy to write with, however, my favourites are definitely mustard and red! They’re just so bold and really stand out.
I never use a gel pen to write my actual ‘neat’ notes with, however, I thought I’d test these out and wow, I was impressed.
I have really messy, inconsistent writing that changes practically by the letter. I only used the black pen here, but you can definitely see how clear it makes your writing look. Since I initially tested out this pen, I’ve used it for every sheet of notes so far, and I don’t plan on changing that anytime soon. I also use the colours to write flashcards with, they’re so perfect because they don’t bleed through, and they don’t smudge whilst I’m writing, which is another issue I usually experience with gel pens!
I know this wasn’t really a long, in-depth review but I honestly have no idea how to write one, so here’s a few points about the pen summarised:
• The ink flow is extremely consistent, there’s no random lumps of ink going everywhere.
• They don’t smudge, well for me anyway (I’ve heard a lot of people say they do).
• The colour range is amazing, and I definitely need a bigger pack.
• The clip is also really handy, although I won’t be getting use out of that.
• They aren’t too pricey!
On the whole, I think these pens are actually amazing. I’ll definitely be using these on almost all of my notes, and definitely on my flashcards. They’re definitely worth the investment, and I feel as if they’ll last quite a long time!
I hope this review kinda helped some of you decide whether to get these pens or not, or was just interesting to read (as if). I’ll be back next week with another blog post!
