Scribble and Dot were kind enough to gift me a few journals and planners to try out!
I’ve been in need of a new journal to get back into bullet journalling, so I was so excited to try these out. Here’s what I think.
When I received the package from Scribble and Dot I was shocked at how well the products came. The journals and planners come in this sleek gift box wrapped in tissue paper (as a standard by the way), making them feel super luxurious!
This makes them the perfect gift for any stationery lovers in your life.
The journal itself is A5 with dotted pages which are numbered. The thing I love the most about it is that it has a key and an index at the front that you can reference throughout, and even pen test pages.
These are such a nice added features, and there’s even a pocket at the back of the journal to store stickers or other documents/extras!
The quality is astounding on every aspect of this journal, from the hardback cover to the 160gsm paper. They really have got everything right.
The hardback cover means that it’s durable and isn’t going to damage when being carried around in your bag. The journal lays flat so it’s super easy to write!
When it comes to a notebook or journal, the quality of the paper really makes a difference. I’m someone who likes to draw in pencil first and erase a lot, use fineliners and a lot of colours. The 160gsm paper is super thick, and with the Staedtler fineliners and Zebra Brush Pens I’ve been using, nothing has noticeably bled through the pages.
I’m clearly not the most creative, but I’m slowly trying to get back into bullet journalling!
The journals and planners retail at £14.95, which is at a lower price point to many competitors such as Papier, Scribbles That Matter, etc. However, the quality in comparison is amazing and definitely doesn’t disappoint.
The price may seem quite pricey, but investing in your stationery means it’ll last longer and you’ll receive a greater quality product.
I’ve been trying this journal out for just over a week, and I think I’ve found the perfect journal to be my new bullet journal.
From the design, the quality and the overall feel of the journal I’m super impressed with it and have even recommended them to friends and family to try out.
I’ll keep you guys updated with how I get on with the whole ‘bullet journalling’ thing on my Instagram! I’m hoping I can become a bit more creative with it 🙂
